Helen Hade, 95, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Lincolnshire Place, Rockford. She was born on August 1, 1923 in Rockford to Donato and Allegrino DiPetrantonio (Petro). She married Ben Hade on December 18, 1943.

Helen worked for 35 years for Smith Oil. She loved music, playing cards, golfing, traveling, shopping, square dance club and her McDonald’s Coffee Club. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara; grandchildren, Allison and Andrew Hade; and many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to her special niece, Nickie and her husband, Roger, for their loving care. Predeceased by parents; husband, Ben; son, Robert; brothers, Peter, Nick and Nerino; sister, Hilda Powder; and special nephew, Larry Powder. The family wants to thank Lincolnshire Place and Transitions Hospice for their loving care.

Visitation from 10:00 to 11:00am with the funeral at 11:00am on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, 61111. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Winnebago, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for a fund to be determined.
