Helen Irene Landis of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at Mason Health Care Center of Warsaw at 12:20 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the age of 91. She was born on April 29, 1927 in LaPorte County, Indiana to Wretha (Smith) Hartzler and Floyd Hartzler. She was married on July 2, 1948 to Lloyd Robert Landis.

They shared 68 years of marriage together before he passed away November 20, 2016. She was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 68 years. Helen worked alongside her husband, enjoying their lives as they farmed and raised sheep.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered by her son: Larry (wife Teresa) Landis (Warsaw, Indiana); daughter: Connie Morgan (Ft. Myers, Florida); and three grandchildren: Andrea Landis (Warsaw, Indiana); Dean Landis (Austin, Texas); Laura (husband Cole) Foltz (Etna Green, Indiana).

Also surviving is her brother-in-law: LeRoy (Rose Anna) Landis (North Manchester, Indiana); brother: Jonathon Hartzler; and her sister: Marjorie Heinlein. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. No visitation will be held.

A private family graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw and officiated by Pastor Greg Hiatt. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
