OBITUARY Helen Juanita Roberts September 21, 1921 – November 27, 2018 Helen Juanita Roberts, 97, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Shawnee, OK. She was born on September 21, 1921 in Haskell County, OK. , to Jesse Gibbs and Beulah Anna (Jones) Gibbs.

Helen married Lloyd Eldridge Roberts on December 25, 1945. They were married for 56 years and had three children together. Helen graduated from Seminole High School.

She loved spending time with her family. Helen loved crocheting and working on her crossword puzzles. She worked for Sullivan Wholesale until the first computer came along.

Helen enjoyed her Sonic ice cream cones, anything lemon and spending time at the lake. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Harmon Gibbs; sister, Hazel Gibbs; daughters, Priscilla Kay Bradley and Patricia “Pat” LuAnn Simek; father-in-law, L.W. Roberts; and mother-in-law, Velcie (Cagle) Roberts. Those left to cherish their memories are her son, Timothy Roberts and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Shelly Tevis and husband Greg, Fred Simek and wife Dana, Randall Troxel and wife Misty, and Jesse Roberts and wife Danielle; great grandchildren, Kory Tevis, Kali Tevis, Autumn Troxel, Amanda Troxel, Allen Sinyard, Caden Simek, Ella Simek and Macy Roberts; great-great grandchild, Jacob Troxel; and many more family and friends.

Visitation will be 8:00am-8:00pm, Friday, November 30, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 1:00pm, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Services are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
