Helen Kimak Boyko, of Shelton, wife of the late John Boyko, entered the afterlife on July 13, 2018. She was born November 21, 1918 In Garfield, NJ to the late Andrew and Anna Telatnik Kimak. Helen leaves behind her son, John A. Boyko.

Also survived by her brother-in-law Nicholas Boyko of Shelton, CT and her sister-in-law Jean Kimak of Carlstadt, NJ as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sister Mary Kimak and her brother Peter Kimak. Helen began her career in the aviation industry working in administrative at Wright Aeronautical, Chance Vought, and after marriage upon moving to Connecticut Avco Lycoming.

In later years, after raising her son, she became a licensed real estate broker. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4PM to 8PM at the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave. , Shelton.

A Funeral Requiem will be held Saturday at 9:30AM at St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, 364 Mill Hill Ave. , Bridgeport.
