Mrs. Helen Louise (Conway) Burnine, age 76, of Trezevant, Tennessee went to meet her Lord February 20, 2019 at McKenzie Health Care, after an extended illness. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, February 24, 2019 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Henderson County, Tennessee.

Robin Jackson will officiate. Helen was born August 21, 1942 in Greenfield, Tennessee to the late James Haywood & Lucille Griffin Conway. She worked many years at ITT Industries in Milan, Tennessee.

Later in life she became a successful business owner, founding & running H.L. Express for many years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, Vester Paul Burnine. She is survived by her five children, Marilyn (Robin) Jackson, Teresa Burnine, James Burnine, Timothy Burnine, & Elvie Lou Burnine; siblings, Barbara Toombs, Juanita Wiseman, Anne Chappell, and Robert Conway; seven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and also Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 11:00 AM to time of service at 1:00 PM. Family will serve as pallbearers. Dilday-Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
