James “Squeeky” Edward Harris July 25, 1927 – March 28, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Mr. James Edward “Squeeky” Harris, 91, of Yuma, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at McKenzie Healthcare. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Chase Sanders officiating.

Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers who will serve are Hunter McCadams, Scott Chandler, Ben Harris, Jacob Harris, Wyatt Stokes, and Sam McCadams. The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 12:00 noon until time of service.

Mr. Harris was born July 25, 1927 in Shiloh, Tennessee, to the late James Thomas Harris and Lessie (Haynes) Harris. He was retired from TVA, served in the Air Force, and a member of Clarksburg Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Myracle Smith, Lucille Boyd, Irene Hollowell, five brothers, Bradley Harris, Danny Ray Harris, John Harris, O. T. Harris, J. R. Harris, and son-in-law, Glenn McCadams.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Maxine Harris, two daughters, Alacia McCadams of Nashville, Patricia Chandler (Danny) of Camden, two sons, Kenny Harris (Rita) of Three-Way, Kevin Harris (Laurie) of Union City, two sisters, Betty Jo Furr of Huntingdon, Sue Carrol Gurley of Clarksburg, two brothers, Charles Harris (Glenda) of Clarksburg and Donald Harris (Dianne) of McKenzie. He also leaves eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
