Helen Louise Newman went to be with her Lord on March 4, 2019. She had been ill for some time and she passed in her own home with her family near her, just the way she wanted. She was born Helen Louise Coomes, the second daughter of Towns Coomes and Bessie (Cummins) Coomes born on March 19, 1924 at Rocky Branch.

She attended The Eldorado Church of Christ, now the Christian Church and was one of the longest standing members.
