PATTON, Helen Patricia “Pat” Portage, MI Passed away Monday morning January 14, 2019 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence at the age of 91. Pat was born in Fountain, Michigan to John & Myrtle Heise. She graduated from Ludington High School.

Pat married Lyle Patton in Muskegon on September 6, 1947 and were married 63 years. Pat retired from Portage Public Schools in 1986. Pat is survived by 2 daughters, Wendy Patton Leino (Ralph) and Cindy Wiborn (Steve), 3 grandchildren, Marshall (Sarah) Selkirk, Chelsea Selkirk and Kyle (Amy) Wiborn, 3 great grandchildren, Estalynn, Aidan and Ethan.

Pat was predeceased by her husband, Lyle in 2011; infant son, John; her brother, Rex and her parents. A memorial service will be held 11 o’clock Friday, January 18th at the Langeland Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Private burial will be in South Portage Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pat’s name can be made to Rose Arbor Hospice or the Kalamazoo Humane Society. Please visit Pat’s personalized webpage for directions, online guestbook, or to leave a condolence.
