Helen Short, 95, of 1200 East Grant Street, Macomb passed away at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Wesley Village Health Care Center in Macomb. She was born on September 29, 1923 in McDonough County to Robert and Ethel Jackson Logan. She married Raymond Short on July 14, 1960 in Jerseyville, Illinois.

He passed away on January 30, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Helen is survived by her church family and many special friends.

She has lived in McDonough County all of her life. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Macomb, Rebekah Lodge #342 and was a former member of Macomb Lodge 9 Ladies Auxiliary Patriarch Militant. She was a quiet lady of great faith.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Reverend Lyren Haney officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the New Loraine Cemetery in Loraine, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to the Wesley Village Household Fund.
