Obituary of Helen Gailie Helen M. Gailie passed away on Friday May 25, 2018 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Lockport on May 25, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Allie King Lute. Helen was Exempt member of the Cambria Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Anthony J. Gailie, who passed away April 30, 2008. Helen was the mother of William J. (Linda) Gailie, Gail (Douglas) Bisher, Ellen Zastrow, Marion (Mark) Schmitt, Michael (Gina) Gailie and the late Paul A. Gailie. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was the sister of Jim Lute, Richard (Pat) Lute and the late Margaret Donner, Milton, Robert and Edwin Lute. Helen was the sister in-law of Richard (Nancy) Gailie and Ann Gailie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Tuesday May 29th 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will be held on Wednesday May 30th at 10 AM. Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
