WEARE- Henry C. Fitts, Sr. 76, of Weare, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with Lung Cancer. Born on July 21, 1942 in Manchester, he was the son of the late Henry J. and Elaine (Courchesne) Fitts. Henry served his country in the United States Army.

He owned and operated Fitts Logging Co for many years and worked on the Big Dig up until his retirement. He loved Hunting and Fishing and was an avid fan of Nascar. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cecile (Roy) his sons, Henry Jr and Pattie, Richard, and Michael & Tracey.

Grandchildren Virginia, Jacob, Madeline, Lucas, Amanda & Michael Pinizzotto, and Great Granddaughter Abigail. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard, Margaret, Kathleen, JoAnn and Cynthia. He was predeceased by siblings Doris, Thomas and David.

There are no calling hours. A graveside committal service with military honors will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen. All are welcome to attend.
