Henry Carl Seekamp, 80, passed away December 15, 2018, 11 months after his beloved wife. He was born October 24, 1938, in Jamaica, NY to Henry and Anni (Flothmeier) Seekamp. Henry served his country in the US Army serving in Vietnam and obtaining the rank of Captain.

Henry married his loving wife Doris C. Baker on July 3, 1960. He and Doris moved a lot because he was in the Army, but they eventually settled in Maine. They moved to Owls Head in 1985 where they owned a Natural Food Store (Mountain View Market).

They moved to Falmouth in 1987. Henry was a member of St. Luke’s Cathedral in Portland for 10 years. Henry is predeceased by his wife Doris, and son Henry C. Seekamp III.

Henry is survived by his daughter-in-law Theresa Seekamp and his granddaughter Bernadette, also by his sister-in-law Janet Dublis as well as nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Central Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta.
