OBITUARY Henry Estes Allen January 26, 1964 – January 4, 2019 Henry Estes Allen of Charlotte, NC passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 from complications from a long illness. He was born on January 26, 1964, went to Myers Park High School and went on to work at our family business, Carolina Time. Henry was an avid golfer and teacher before his health started failing.

He is preceded in death by his loving father Henry Allen and mother May Jean Joseph Allen and twin brothers Jonathan and Barkley Allen. Henry is survived by his sisters Debra Allen Jones, Jennifer Honeycutt, Michelle Allen Terry, former wife Jackie Allen, step-daughter Natasha Paris and many loving niece nephews – Nicole Jones, Justin Jones, Jason Jones, Jared Jones, Alana Simpson, Piper Simpson, Miles Bullard, Evan Bullard, Alexis Bullard, Madalyn Bullard and Linkin Bullard. We are still in shock at his sudden passing but glad he is out of the constant pain he suffered and we will find the peace he deserved in heaven with our Lord, Jesus Christ and mother and father.

While Henry had his troubles, he had a generous heart, free spirit and excelled at any sport he played. We are thankful he is no longer suffering but will always love and miss the brother we knew. Only God has the answers and we trust in Him completely, but we are broken hearted that our brother left us too soon.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 8th at 11:30am at McEwen Funeral Service, located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte. The family will greet friends thirty minutes prior to service. Interment will be at Sharon Memorial Park.
