OBITUARY Joseph D’Antuono February 29, 1936 – January 5, 2019 Joseph D’Antuono, age 82, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 5, 2019 peacefully in his sleep. Born and raised in New York, NY, Joe served in the US Army from 1959 -1961. Upon his honorable discharge, he went to work with his brothers as a serviceman for Coinmach, a laundry service provider, for 35 years.

In 1965 he met and married the love of his life, Lois, with whom he had two children; Marie and Diana . After settling in Queens, NY they eventually moved to Saugerties, NY, where they would welcome grandchildren and then later to North Haledon, NJ and finally Charlotte, NC. Mr. D’Antuono was an avid family man.

As a drummer he enjoyed music, dancing, comedy and was the life of every party. He is survived by his wife, Lois (nee Floria), their daughters Marie Saulpaugh (David), Diana Johnson (Harold) grandchildren, Michael (fiance ToniAnn ) and Stephen, and siblings Theresa Bishop and Dominick. He is predeceased by his parents Michael and Damiana, and four brothers and one sister.

A Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at St. Matthew Catholic Church. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday January 8, 2019 at McEwen Pineville Chapel.
