He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ethelene; three daughters, Lola Detweiler & husband, Wayne; Valerie Crawford and husband, John, Velda Meyer and husband, Steve; two sons, Harlo Helmerichs and wife Brenda; Jim Helmerichs and wife Janet, 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and number 21 is due in July; sister Johanna McMahon.
