Henry “Vic” Victor Hammond, 86 of Clarksburg passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at United Hospital Center. He was born August 13, 1932 in Brown, WV, son of the late Charlie M and Iva Roberta Hayhurst Hammond. Henry worked odd jobs throughout Harrison County.

His hobbies were doing crafts, fishing, hunting and helping anyone that needed it. He worked on the family farm for many years and kept things going. Vic loved going to church.

He is survived by one sister, Lulla Belle Tate, Weirton, half-brother, Danny Hammond, Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Martha Robey, Donald Hammond, Ruth Baker, Helen McCullaugh, Bud Hammond, Willa Lee Amos. Family and friends will be received at the Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr./ Rt.

98, Clarksburg from 12:00 noon-until time of funeral service at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 26, 2019 with Pastor Bobby Nuzum officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
