Obituary for Herbert Treese Herbert D. Treese, 89, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Parkdale Manor in Maryville, Missouri. Herbert was born on October 4, 1928 in Pickering, Missouri to Crystal and Alma (Cline) Treese. He was a 1946 graduate of Horace Man High School and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Maryville.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and received a Purple Heart. Herbert retired from Northwest Missouri State University as a stationary engineer with the power plant. He enjoyed wintering in Texas with his wife and playing cards.

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marilyn Neal. He married Carolyn Turner on June 23, 1951 in Hopkins, Missouri. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include, son, Ed (Barbara) Treese, Lake Lotawana, Missouri; daughter, Becky Bolyard, Olathe, Kansas; two brothers, Howard (Billie) Treese, Yuma, Arizona and Harold (JoAnn) Treese, Camdenton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Brad (Kelly) Bolyard, John (Maria) Bolyard and Jennie (Justin) Moore; six great-grandchildren, Jillian, Ashlyn, Bekah, Austin, Stella and Scarlett. Graveside Services and Burial 2PM Tuesday at the Hopkins Cemetery, Hopkins, Missouri under the direction of Price Funeral Home. There will be no visitation held.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Hopkins Cemetery Association in care of Hopkins City Hall, Hopkins, Missouri 64461. www.
