OBITUARY Herbert Edward Odum July 26, 1930 – July 13, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Herbert Edward Odum, age 87 of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away July 13, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Perry & Leona (Hix) Odum and brother, Jim Odum.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jeanell (Carden) Odum; daughter, Lynn Odum (Linda Aiken); grandchildren Michael Unti and Tyler Unti; sisters, Ruby Edwards & Eva Leslie; brothers, Oscar Odum, Herman Odum, Homer Odum, Jack Odum, & Paul Odum. Herbert was a retired Masonry Contractor. He was also an avid fisherman and was a founder of the Percy Priest Hybrid Club.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, July 16, 2018 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bro. Leonard Diebold officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Aaron Brown, Michael Brown, Tom Turner, Paul Odum, Ronnie Edwards and Jimmy Odum. The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm Sunday, July 15, 2018 and from 9-10 am Monday at the funeral home.
