Heriberto Cruz Jr., 37 of Perth Amboy, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at his residence with his family by his side. Heriberto was born in Brooklyn, New York and later moved to Perth Amboy. He was employed by LC Communications, Edison as a Forklift Operator.

Heriberto was an avid basketball player and enjoyed watching the Bulls and Lakers. He loved spending time with family and friends. He is preceeded in death by his mother Carmen Rios.

He is survived by his devoted children Brianna Cruz and Joelfri Ramirez; , sister, Isabel Morales, sister, Brenda Morales, sister, Jennifer Cohen, Brother, Juan “Cheo” J Cruz, Brother, Steven Cruz, sister, Lemarie Rios, Brother, Jason Lugo, Brother, Jorge Aviles, companion, Yinet Ramirez, sister-in-law, Solanny Monterio . A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 10am at Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visiting is on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
