OBITUARY Hersel “Cotton” Leroy Stonehocker October 2, 1928 – January 12, 2019 Hersel Leroy “Cotton” Stonehocker, 90, of San Angelo passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 in San Angelo. Graveside services are 11 am Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in Eldorado City Cemetery. Chaplain Mike McCravy officiating.

He was born October 2, 1928 in Kaw City, Oklahoma to Otto Roy and Oleta Marie Pimberton Stonehocker. He served in the US Army and worked as a diesel mechanic for 34 years with Halliburton. He married Mabel Parrant on February 13, 1976 in Viacuna, Mexico and moved to this area in 2002.

Survivors include a son, Daryl Glen (Lisa) Stonehocker, a daughter, Linda K. (Dalan) Drane, all of Oklahoma; a stepson, Roy Hawkins (Dale Dusek) of San Angelo; a sister, Clyla May Sumrall of Kansas; two grandsons, Nathan and Zachary Drane of Oklahoma.
