Hilary “Bill” Neylon, age 82, US Army Veteran, of Hoffman Estates, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018. He was born on November 6, 1935 in Aurora, Illinois to Joseph and Olive Neylon. Bill was raised in West Chicago and graduated from West Chicago Community High School in 1953.

After high school Bill served in the US Amy for 2 years. He moved to the Northwest suburbs in 1973. Bill was an electrician retiring in 1996 and was a member of the IBEW local 134.

He was a Ham radio operator and a friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob. Bill is survived by his sister, Sr. Mary Alice Neylon; sister-in-law, Dee Ann Neylon; nieces and nephews, Dennis Jr. (Jackie) Neylon, Sue (Paul) Celani, Paul (Laura) Neylon, Patti (Doug) Heil, Mary (Mac) Doss, Bill Neylon and Christina Neylon; and family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joseph and Dennis Neylon.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1451 West Bode Rd. , Schaumburg, IL 60194. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in West Chicago.
