OBITUARY Horace “Dub” Wolfe Feagans Jr. April 25, 1937 – December 9, 2018 Horace “Dub” Wolfe Feagans, Jr., 81, died peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2018. Dub had courageously battled Alzheimer’s for almost six years. He was born April 22, 1937, in Chattanooga, TN.

He was a 1955 graduate of Red Bank High School and a 1959 graduate of The University of Chattanooga. Dub began working at Barker Oil in his late teens. After graduating from The University of Chattanooga, he pursued a career in accounting.

Dub’s career spanned many roles over 56 years. He was a master in the business world and enjoyed every endeavor. He retired from Chattanooga Christian School in 2012 and Logan-Moore in 2014.

Dub served every position he ever held with unsurpassed dignity and professionalism. Dub was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He never missed a performance, recital, or banquet for one of his children or grandchildren.

His family was his sense of pride. There was nothing he would not do for any of them. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Clapp Feagans; parents, Horace and Fannie Feagans; in-laws Kermit and Edith Clapp; daughter-in-law, Julie Feagans; brother-in-law, Dana Wilbourn; and nephew, Bill Tittle.

Dub is survived by his son, D. Mark Feagans of Chattanooga; daughter, Allyson Millican (Brian) of Chattanooga; sister, Dianne Wilbourn of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Jack Harrison Feagans of Tampa, FL, Blake Cameron Feagans, Katherine Grace Millican, and Claire Elizabeth Millican, all of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Sue Jones of Maryville, TN; brother-in-law Steven K. Clapp (Sue) of Windermere, FL; and several nieces and nephews, David Tittle (Karin) of Chattanooga; Becky Cox (Brian) of Maryville, TN; Bryan Wilbourn (Jordan) of Ooltewah, TN; and Emily Fernandes (Diego) of Ringgold, GA. The family expresses our sincerest gratitude to Dr. Glenn Newman and Hospice of Chattanooga for their excellent and compassionate care. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, December 14, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday at Rivermont Presbyterian Church with The Reverend Doctor Clay Thomas officiating.
