Obituary for Howard Worley Howard L Worley, 80 of Mayfield died Thursday October 18 ,2018 at 8:25 pm at Somerfield Health Center in Brentwood Tennessee. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Martine Holland Worley, his children include Melinda (Gordon) Smith or Manhattan Kansas; Anita (Dahlen) Jordan of Franklin Tennessee; Linda Littlejohn of Hermitage Tennessee and Craig (Tracy) Worley of Tuscaloosa Alabama. His grandchildren include Kristin (Tyler) Hayes of Omaha, Nebraska; Aaron Smith of Omaha, Nebraska; Laura Worley of Birmingham, Alabama; Jarrod Worley of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Virginia Jordan and Evan Jordan of Franklin Tennessee, Amber Barton (Chris) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Morgan Falls of Tuscaloosa Alabama; three great-grandchildren include Isaac Smith of Omaha Nebraska, John Weston Barton and Remi Jane Barton of Tuscaloosa Alabama.
Sisters included Mary Alice Henson of Jackson Tennessee, Nina Ivy of Dukedom Tennessee, Gladys Wall of Martin Tennessee, Ruth Ochoa of Houston Texas, Helen McGowan of Troy Tennessee and Shirley Edwards of Benton Kentucky, one brother Ollie Worley of Sierra Vista, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents John E and Venita Fortner Worley, sisters; Anna Catherine Jordan and Rosa Mae Worley; brothers James Worley and Glen Worley. Howard was born on August 6, 1938 in Fulton Kentucky, graduating from Bowling Green Business University (Western Kentucky University).
He was a Certified Public Accountant with Reed and Company from 1961 until his death. He was an active member of Trace Creek Baptist Church, Mayfield Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Trace Creek Baptist Church with Rev.
Ronnie Stinson, Sr. and Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Trace Creek Cemetery.
