Obituary of Howard Bishop WALLINGFORD – Howard H. Bishop, 89, departed this life on February 9, 2019 at CT Hospice in Branford. He was the beloved husband of the late Elise (Pendleton) Bishop. Howard was born in Cromwell, CT on December 10, 1929 to the late Harry and Ethel (Church) Bishop.

He served his country proudly as a member of the United States Army and worked for Southern New England Telephone Company. It was here that he met his beloved wife, Elise. After Howard and Elise were married, they settled in Wallingford to start a family of their own.

He is survived by his daughter Kathleen (George) Kaufman of Westbury, NY and his son Kenneth Bishop (Kim Lussier) of Hudson, NH. A Memorial Service and Interment with military honors will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the CT State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
