Hughlester Douglas of Flint, Michigan February 24, 1960 – March 9, 2019 DOUGLAS, Mr. Hughlester-age 59, of Flint, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his residence. Arrangements are incomplete at this time. Mr. Hughlester Douglas was born February 24, 1960 in Flint, Michigan the sixth child of Earline and Tom Douglas, Jr

Mr. Douglas accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He attended Flint Community Schools and loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed reading his Bible.

His other hobbies included playing spades and domino’s with his brother. Hughlester loved family gatherings, laughing, talking and enjoying the meal. He was very outspoken and didn’t bite his tongue.

Mr. Hughlester Douglas leaves to cherish his memory: loving mother, Earline Douglas; 2 daughters, Miss Aleanexa N. Montgomery and Mrs. Brandy (Leroy) Hackett; 1 grandson, Demetrius Steward; 3 sisters, Mrs. Gloria G. Harris, Mrs. Earnestine Moore and Mrs. Althea McDaniel; 7 brothers, Mr. Franklin C. Douglas, Mr. Ira Lee Douglas, Mr. Eric (Monica) Douglas, Mr. Terrance Douglas, Mr. Michael (Maria) Shelton; fiance’, Ella Mae Payne; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; caregiver, Althea McDaniel. Mr. Hughlester Douglas was preceded in death by: father, Tom Douglas, Jr.; grandparents, Dave and Alberta Thomas; and Lucille and Tom Douglas, Sr.; brother, Christopher Douglas; niece, Bonita J. White and brother-in-law, Michael J. Moore. The family would like to express special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice for all you’ve done for our family.
