Ignacio Martinez Diaz, 56, of Carpentersville, was born August 8, 1962 in Leon, Mexico to Atanacio and Maria (nee Diaz Delgado) Martinez Santos. He passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at his home in Carpentersville. Ignacio is survived by his father, Atanacio; his siblings, Ana Martinez Diaz, Pedro (Toni) Martinez Diaz, Araceli Martinez Diaz, Maria Guadalupe (Jorge) Martinez Diaz, Rocio (Luis) Martinez Diaz, Gabriel (Jennifer) Martinez Diaz, Eva (Saul) Martinez Diaz, and Hugo (Susana) Martinez Diaz; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 23, from 1pm until 5pm with a memorial service at 4pm.
