Age 94, of West Mifflin, formerly of the South Side. Born September 20, 1924, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Husband of almost 70 years to the late Dorothy Turon; beloved father of Chris (Carl) Spencer and Darlene (John) Kerwin; grandfather of Heather Miller; step-grandfather of John Kerwin of Florida; also many nieces and nephews.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1945 in the 17th Airborne Division, lifetime member of VFW, member of the Polish Falcons Nest 8, graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He enjoyed dancing, gambling and betting on horses and dogs, bowling with his fellow postal workers, and volunteered at Vita for income tax for seniors. He will be missed by all.

Friends received Monday, 7:30 AM until funeral prayer at 9:30 AM in Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. 2323 E. Carson St., Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church, Prince of Peace Parish at 10:00 AM.
