Ina Mae Raper, 91, boarded her flight to Gloryland, May 31, 2018 in Alvarado, Texas surrounded by all of her loved ones. Ina was born on December 30, 1926 in Merkle, Texas, daughter of Frederick Vaughn Hudson I and Ella Nora (Carter) Hudson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alvin A. Raper; daughter, Janice Gayle; step son, Alvin Lewis Raper (Sonny); brothers, Wayne Francis, Frederick V. Hudson II, Evan (Buddy) Hudson, William T. Hudson; sisters, Callie Elizabeth Cox, Clara Jo Briscoe, Harley Ann Royster; grandson, Jason T. Stone, and three nephews.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Clara Ellen Baker, Joyce LaNell Uselton, Harley Seth Raper Sr, Ruby Dayle Sheffield, Allen De Wayne Raper, and Frederick W. Raper; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends, too numerous to tell.
