Roel Ramiro Acevedo, 78, of Alvarado went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2018. Roel was born on April 10, 1940 in Hebbronville, Texas. He was the child of Jose and Tereza Acevedo.

He will be remembered for gardening and his mechanic work. He loved playing his guitar and accordion. He is preceded in death by both his parents, his wife Eva, his brothers, Chacho, Fito, Robert, and Chichi, and his sisters, Sylvia and Juanita.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Dora, Diane, Sorina, Roel Jr., Alicia, Luciano, Yolanda, Sofia, and Elena; 25 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren.
