Obituary for Inez Joan Mitchell (Titus) Inez Joan Mitchell, 92, of Camp Hill, passed away on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at the Gardens of West Shore in Camp Hill. Born on May 21, 1925 in Rushsylvania, OH, she was the daughter of the late Leland R. and Helen E. (Hempy) Titus and she was the widow of Norman O. Mitchell. Inez was a graduate of Stivers High School in Dayton, OH.
She was retired from Sears in Camp Hill after 15 years as a Telephone Clerk. She had also worked on the Wright Patterson Air force Base in Dayton, OH for 10 years. She attended the West Shore Baptist Church in Camp Hill.
Inez is survived by two daughters, Sarah “Sally” Shaak and her husband Steve, of Mechanicsburg; and Jane Sheats and her husband Doug, of Center Valley; a son, Kent Mitchell and his wife Susan, of York; a sister, Susan Garretson and her husband Donald, of Tipp City, OH. Inez was also a grandmother of six and a great grandmother of three. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Leo V. Titus, and a sister, Phyllis Brugler.
Funeral services will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday May 4, 2018 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, with Pastor Dr. Paul Thompson officiating. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 PM until the time of the service. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
Memorial contributions may be made to Four Diamonds, 1249 Cocoa Ave. , #115, Hershey, PA 17033.
