Tourney Squire June 06, 1935 – May 13, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Inez Ruth Tourny Squire passed away suddenly May 13, 2019, at the age of 83 at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. Tourny was born June 6, 1935 at Tacoma General Hospital, to Anton and Olive Isaksen. Tourny grew up in Fife, Washington where she later graduated from Fife High School.

She went on to work for the Brown & Haley candy company and raised 4 boys. She was active in her son’s cub scout and boy scout troops. On May 19, 1990, Tourny married Alan G. Squire.

They were married for 6 years before Alan passed away on May 9, 1996. Tourny was active in Life Center, Bible group, Stars group, and the YMCA. She loved to shop at the L.C. thrift shop.

She also loved choir and the Singing Christmas Tree. Most of all, Tourny loved her family. She was even like a grandmother to her grandchildren’s friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Alan G. Squire. Tourny is survived by her sons; Leroy Ellestad Jr., David (Tina) Ellestad, Brian (Melodee) Ellestad, Roger (Jill) Ellestad, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
