Obituary for Ira R. Coleman Jr. Ira R. Coleman, Jr., 78, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at his home in Carterville, MO. Ira was born November 27, 1939 in Carthage, MO to Ira and Neoma “Riley” Coleman. Ira was a lifetime resident of Jasper County.

He was employed by Safeway Cheese and Coglizer Tent Company. He attended First Baptist Church, but was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Webb City, MO. Ira was united in marriage to Nancy “Skaggs” on July 17, 1991 at Calvary Baptist Church in Joplin; she survives.

Ira is also survived by two sons, Russell Coleman of Webb City and Joseph Coleman of Carthage, along with four grandchildren. Ira was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Oakhill Cemetery in Carthage.
