OBITUARY Irene Ruis Jeffcoat December 15, 1950 – October 12, 2018 Irene Ruis Jeffcoat LEESVILLE – A Going Home Celebration for Irene Ruis Jeffcoat, 67, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with entombment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the funeral home. Mrs. Chester was born December 15, 1950 in Starke, FL, and passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018.

She was a daughter of William A. and Geneva Crews Ruis. Mrs. Jeffcoat loved God and her family. Bringing her children into the world was her greatest accomplishment, and she was so proud to be a mother and a grandmother.

Mrs. Jeffcoat is survived by her children, James Howard, Jr. (Bubba) and Jeffery Randall Jeffcoat; grandchildren, Becky McCormick, Jasmine, Allen Michael, Drew, Ashley, Lane, Rachel, Alex Jeffcoat, and Kaitlynn Rawls; great-grandchildren, Alexa and Abbie McCormick, Jude, Mason, Clayton, Suhmari and Maya Jeffcoat; sisters, Joan Martin (Larry), Linda Gail Reeves (Phillip), Francie Crook and brother-in-law, Roy Garza. She was predeceased by a daughter, Janie Riffey; sister, Jan Garza and brother, Bill Ruis.
