Irene Savage of Nesbit, Mississippi October 14, 1946 – February 4, 2019 Irene Sandefer Savage, 72, of Nesbit, Mississippi, formerly of East Texas and Irving, died Monday, February 4, 2019 at a Tyler hospital. Born October 14, 1946 in Terrell, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Ira Eugene Sandefer and Trella Martina Smith Sandefer. She raised her children in Irving and lived in various cities in East Texas before moving to Mississippi a little over a year ago.

She was a homemaker and recently worked for the Subway Sandwich Shop in Mississippi. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother Tony R. Sandefer, she is survived by two sons, Dujuan Hinds and wife Teresa of Irving and Kelly Hinds and wife Carla Harris of Aztec, New Mexico; a brother Ira Lee Sandefer of Sikeston, Missouri; a sister Tammie Gale Henderson of Irving, Texas; five grandchildren, Desiree Hinds, Tristen Hinds, Autumn Bernardi, Brandi Fabio and husband Jim, and Justin Hinds; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2019 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
