Obituary of Irene Turbine Irene V. Turbine, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Niagara Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 28, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Martin and Victoria (Gorecki) Krzyskoski and attended local schools. Irene worked for the Carborundum Corporation for many years until her retirement.

Irene was a very sociable person who attended many communal gatherings. She loved shopping and dancing and was exceptionally proud of her polish heritage. Through the years Irene was a member of various clubs and organizations in the community.

To name of few; She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, an active member of the John Duke Center, a member of several clubs at the former Holy Trinity RC Church, Our Lady of the Rosary Church, The Echo Club, The American Legion Portage Post #1465 Ladies Auxiliary (which she was formerly the president of). Irene loved to travel. She voyaged across the country and even as far as Poland.

She is survived by three generations of nieces, nephews and several cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Theodore A. Krzyskoski and Henry M. (Josephine) Krzyskoski; nephew, Martin Krzyskoski and Longtime Companion, Chester Jablonski. There is NO PRIOR visitation.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 26th at Divine Mercy Parish, 2437 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.

Burial following in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
