Obituary for Iris Harlin (Taylor) Iris Taylor Blackwell Harlin died Saturday, June 2, 2018 in Littlefield, Texas at the age of 98 years, 3 months and 14 days. She was born February 18, 1920 in Clarksville, Texas to Mack C. and Kinnie (Whitley) Taylor. She married William H. Blackwell on January 15, 1946.

After William died on August 28, 1953, Iris married Percy V. Harlin on October 3, 1955 in Clovis, New Mexico. Iris worked in a defense plant during World War II. She was a member of the Sudan Senior Citizens and the First Baptist Church of Sudan.

Iris was also a member of the Sweethearts of Texas at her nursing home. She loved her family and her grandkids. Iris is preceded in death by her first husband, William Blackwell; her second husband, Percy Harlin; her parents; two sisters; and four brothers.

Iris is survived by her three daughters, Cynthia Smith and her husband, Richard of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Sherry Blackwell of Richardson, Texas and Sheila Park and her husband, Don of Littlefield, Texas; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
