Obituary for Lee Magby Lee Magby died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 84 years, 0 months and 25 days. He was born June 8, 1934 in Pickens, Oklahoma to Richard and Audrey (Wilson) Magby. He married Sammie Nell Jacops in Muleshoe in 1958.

Lee owned and operated Magby Ditching with his brother Boyd. He attended the Assembly of God Church in Muleshoe and was a member of the Senior Citizens Center in Muleshoe. Lee loved to fish and treasured the time he spent with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Flo Morris and Irene Morris; and one brother, Boyd Magby. Lee is survived by his wife, Nell; his two sons, Russell Magby and his wife, Keri of Lubbock, Texas and Derick Magby of Muleshoe, Texas; four grandchildren, Blake Magby, Trey Magby, Ty Magby and Taylor Magby; and eight great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
