OBITUARY Irvin H Mattingly July 11, 1947 – July 21, 2018 Irvin H. Mattingly (1947-2018) passed away peacefully on July 21 at his home in Louisville, KY. He is remembered as a compassionate humanitarian. Irv proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1967-71, achieving the rank of Corporal.

He is survived by his children Kellie Mattingly, Stephen Mattingly (Nikita), Jennifer Grier (Tim), Marjorie Sheehan (Gage), and Garrett Sheehan; grandchildren Nick, Josh, Hayden, Alex, and Kieran; siblings, Linda Monroe, Jo Ann Sheehan, Diane Erickson, Sharon Gibson, Vickie Bramble, Pamela Hopewell, Sandra, Alvin, Larry, Morris, Everett, and Mike Mattingly. He is preceded in death by siblings Danny, Terry, Mary Theresa, Mary Katherine, and Dennis Mattingly, Viola Davis, and Ella Limbrick. Memorial services: Tuesday July 31, 4-8pm, Marine Corps League House, 3758 Pulliam Dr. 40218.

Donations to St. Meinrad Archabbey or the Sierra Club are asked instead of flowers.
