Jack Mitchell, age 66, of Erwin, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Maysville, KY, Jack is a son of the late Howard and Mary (Reynolds) Mitchell. He was a truck driver and enjoyed NASCAR, camping and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Katherine Barnett. Jack Mitchell leaves behind to cherish his memory: Wife of 26 years: Denisa “DeeDee” Mitchell; Brothers: Jim Mitchell and wife, Beth, Dale Mitchell and wife, Barb; Sister: Ramona Doyle and husband, Jeff; Sister-in-law: Melissa McIntosh and husband, Mike; Special great-niece: Brylea Ponce; Several nieces and nephews. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Jack Mitchell in a memorial service to be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2019 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home.

Reverend Andy Blackwelder will officiate. Visitation periods to share memories and offer support to the family will be held at other times at Melissa and Mike’s home, 110 Cross Street, Erwin, TN 37650. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family and viewed at www.
