Jack Schoettle, 79 of Indian River passed away on January 31, 2019 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Jack was born on March 9, 1939 in Port Huron, MI the son of John Schoettle and Charlotte Schoettle. He grew up in Detroit, Port Sanilac and Royal Oak and graduated from Dondero High School in Royal Oak in 1957.

In 1994 Jack married Sharon Schwab in their home. Jack enjoyed boating and watching television. Jack is survived by his wife Sharon, children Robert Schwab, Linda (Thom) Tederington, Pam Hall, and Antoinette (Chad) Bone, grandchildren Tom, John, James, Ally, Austin, Cali, Chad, Maddie, and Veronica as well as nine great grandchildren and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Jack “Jackie” Schoettle. Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in memory of Jack should consider the family at this time.
