Jack Vaughton Rhodes, 86, of Kinston passed away Friday, July, 20 2018 at Kitty Askins in Goldsboro. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Ruth Byrd Rhodes; parents Alex Ander Rhodes and Etta Hardin Rhodes; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Jack was a truck driver for Harvey Oil Co. and a member of Pilgrim Home FWB Church.

He is survived by his daughter Jackie Rhodes of Kinston; his sons Thomas Rhodes of Kinston, Gary Rhodes of Kinston and Kenneth Rhodes and wife, Donna of Kinston; sister Ann Driggers and husband Eddie of Proctorville; grandchildren Kim Williams and husband, Kendal, Craig Cahoon and wife Leane, Jason Rhodes and wife Nicole, Brianna Rhodes, Justin Rhodes, Jacob Rhodes and 5 great-grand children. A visitation will be held 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018, at 279 Longview Dr. Kinston, NC. A private service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Pilgrim Home FWB Church 828 Neuse Rd.
