Obituary Jackie Varner, age 87 of Shippensburg, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Shippensburg Healthcare Center. He was born January 31, 1932 in Shippensburg, the son of the late Elizabeth M. (Gutshall) and Paul N. Varner, Sr. Jackie worked for De Rose Industries in Chambersburg. In his spare time, Jackie enjoyed hunting and was known to love animals.
