Jacqueline H. Englehart, 89, of Alvin came to her journey’s end on this earth on July 13, 2018 as she walked into the arms of Jesus. Jacqueline was born Gladstell, Texas to her parents Herbert and Gladys (Slade) Hood. She married Burney Englehart on August 31, 1946 in Alvin.

It was here that they raised their family. She worked for JMB Tire as a bookkeeper for over 25 years where she made many lifelong friends. She was an excellent cook and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband Burney, son Billy, her parents, her brother Milton Hood and granddaughter Fallan Englehart. Left to ponder on many memories are her daughter Karen Deavers, granddaughter Kimberley Fuller and husband Steve, great-granddaughter Kathryn, Madeline Mackenzie and Cheyenne; special niece Lynda Harris; and numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
