Maxine Mildred Reseburg age 82 of Alvin, passed away on September 15, 2018, peacefully surrounded by family. She was born on February 25, 1936 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to parents, William and Mildred LaVallee. While in high school Maxine found the love of her life, Norman Ray Reseburg, and they were later married on September 3, 1955 in Fond du Lac.

Norman and Maxine moved from Wisconsin to Houston in 1971 and then to Alvin in 1976. Maxine and her husband became members at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Maxine was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and loved to spend time with her family and her husband of 60 years.

Maxine is preceded in death by her husband Norman Ray Reseburg, her parents William and Mildred LaVallee; and her sister, Elaine LaVallee. She is survived by her three children: Scott Reseburg and wife Maria Veronica, Susan Chapman and Laura Garcia; brothers: William LaVallee and husband Forrest, Lee LaVallee and wife Evie, Jim LaVallee and wife Kathy; grandchildren: Amy Hildebrand and husband Clayton, Rebecca Garner and husband Thomas, Cory Garcia, Rachel Chapman, Bethany Chapman and Chris Colon; great grandchildren: Tristan Padia and wife Meggie, Cort Hildebrand, Evan Hildebrand, Emilee Hildebrand, Kara McClure, Bailey McClure, Jaylond Labaki; and other numerous relatives and friends. The Reseburg Family will hold a private service for the immediate family at a later date.
