Obituary for Jacqueline W. Buras Jacqueline W. Buras passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Edward L. Buras, Sr. for 51 years. Mother of Patricia Folse (David), Judy LaCoste (Roger), David B. Buras (Sheri) and the late Edward L. Buras Jr. (Beverly Barbin).

Daughter of the late Agnes Gendusa Wilcox and Daniel Wilcox. Sister of the late Daniel Wilcox. Step sister of Rita Lobue.

Grandmother of David Folse, Jr., Stacey Nappier, Nicole Morrill, Ryan LaCoste, Alexander Buras, Edward Buras, III, Jennifer Buras, and Cristina Schexnayder. Great grandmother of Andrew, Timothy, Cailey, Brooklyn, Aidan, Colin, Jonah, Devin, Brendan, Aidan, Ryleigh, Harper, Sarah, and Payton. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

She loved to dance and have a good time and loved to spend time with her family. She was a retail sales associate with D.H. Holmes (Dillards) and a retiree of Sears. She was a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA for the past 27 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy. , Harvey, LA on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
