OBITUARY Jacquline “Jackie” Rivere October 4, 1962 – December 3, 2018 Jacquline “Jackie” Gauthreaux Rivere, 56, a native of Pierre Part and resident of Napoleonville passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2018 surrounded by her family. Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with family, camping, shopping and her work buddies at A LA Cart.

Jackie leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Micky Rivere of 38 years; children, Beth Rivere Cavalier and husband, Scott and Ivory Rivere; grandchildren, Scotty Cavalier, Kynzli Jo Rivere, Jax Cavalier and Jane Hebert; two sisters, Christine Domingue (Carol Jr.), and Claudia Rivere (Philip Jr. “Lobe”); three brothers, Brent Gauthreaux (Nora), Carl Gauthreaux (Mona) and Feren Gauthreaux (Delores); mother and father-in-law, Felix and Geraldine Rivere; three brother-in-law’s, Ricky Rivere (Rosemary) Ruben Rivere (Hartense) and Brian Rivere (Ellen); five godchildren, Ethan Gauthreaux, Brooke Campo, Shawn Rivere, Jennifer Robinson and Kylie Belle Rivere and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Mary Miller Gauthreaux; sister, Barbara Blanchard; father-in-law, Ivery Rivere; two brother-in-laws, Wesley and Chris Rivere and one sister-in-law, Rebecca Rivere. The family would like to thank Journey Hospice, Thibodaux Cancer Center and Dr. Keith Landry and staff for all their support and care.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6pm until 10pm at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Visitation will resume on Friday, December 7, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
