Obituary for Jake R. Barlow Jake Robert Barlow, age 48, of St. Louis (formerly of Clare) passed away suddenly on Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Carson City Hospital. He was born the son of Robert M and Dorothy A. (Loomis) Barlow on September 11, 1969, in Mt. Pleasant.

He had graduated from Clare High School and was a farmer for most of his life. He had been an Officer in the Future Farmers of America during high school and was active in 4-H. On Dec.

1, 2001 he married Kimberly Most in St. Louis and she survives him. Jake always had a love for cars and car shows and was currently working as a long haul Truck Driver, but did not like being away from home. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly, his son, Jacob (Carly Wentworth) Barlow of Farwell, and daughter, Emily Barlow at home, his parents, Robert and Dorothy Barlow of Clare, brother, Casey Barlow, also of Clare, his three grandchildren, Brenden, Steven, and Jack Barlow, and his mother-in-law, Donna Most.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jake and Julia Barlow, brother, Jack, and father-in-law, Robert Most. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 27, at 11 AM at the Brown Corners United Brethren Church, 5540 S. Clare Ave, Clare, Mi. , 48617 with Pastor Jeremiah Ketchum officiating.

Friends may meet with his family at the church from 10 AM until the time of Services on Tuesday. His final resting place will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery in Clare. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his family, or to the charity of your choice.
