James A Smith, Jr of Columbia, Tennessee November 20, 1941 – February 9, 2019 Mr. James Smith, Jr., age 77, resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, February 9 at Magnolia Healthcare. Funeral services will be announced later by Heritage Funeral Home. Born November 20, 1941 in Jackson, MS, he was the son of the late James A. Smith and Robbie Williams Smith and husband of Diane Smith.

He was a self employed mechanic. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Michael Smith and Chiquita Smith, both of Indiana; brother: George Smith of Columbia; sisters: Elaine Wade and Wanda Smith, both of Columbia and Bonita Smith of Detroit, MI.
