Obituary for James Alford Baker James Alford Baker, 76, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2018. He was born on February 9, 1942 in Judsonia, to James Albert and Ada Lucille Varner Baker. James is survived by his wife, Catherine Maddoux Baker; a son, Timothy James Baker; 3 daughters, Sheila Yvonne Baker of Searcy, Judy Ann Grant and husband, Bob of Canon City, Colorado, Sheila Joyce Dillinger and husband, Rick of Trumann, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jacob Sanchez, Melissa Fiber, Cody Baker, Cassandra Fortner, Stephen Baker, Tillie Elvrum, Ada Padilla, Ben Ladish, Kenny Stacks, Roy Warden, Rickey Dillinger and Sherry Doyle; 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sarah Darlene Yielding; 3 brothers, Milton, Albert and Clyde Baker; 3 sisters, Geraldine, Ada Mae and Janie Lou Baker. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 5 from 12-1pm at Rose Bud Assembly of God, followed by Funeral Service at 1:00pm. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Judsonia, Arkansas.
