Obituary for James Andrew Coats Mr. James Andrew Coats of Vanndale, Arkansas died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born in Covington, Tennessee on October 4,1920 to the late Joe and Mandy Coats. He owned and operated a salvage yard for many years.

He married Lois Marie Bullock Coats and she preceeds him in death. Survivors are his son, Joe Michael “Mike” Coats of Vanndale and daughter, Judy Clark of Ponders, Texas. He has several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
